AudioManage: Features
AudioManage supports everything...

Devices....

AudioManage supports local drives, network drives, removable storage - disks, USB thumbdrives, CF, SmartMedia, MMC, SD (via card reader) etc., MP3 players, and almost anything that contains digital audio files and can be accessed via Windows paths. It supports Audio CDs, and even has special support for all those MP3 compilations that you so painstakingly put together on CDs. In fact, you can even manage tracks based on their physical location.

AudioManage supports local drives, network drives, removable storage - disks, USB thumbdrives etc., MP3 players, and almost anything that contains digital audio files

When you launch (double-click!) a track from within AudioManage, it first checks for the existence of the file. If the file is not found, it determines where the file might be, and prompts you for it. It can even detect different tracks on AudioCDs, even though the tracks are all named 'Track xx.cda' (with AudioManage, you will rarely see names like that: AudioManage determines the real name of the track, and shows you that name instead of the 'Track 01.cda' that is seen in other programs.

Formats....

Among digital audio, AudioManage supports all commonly used file formats: WMA, MP3, MP2, OGG, AAC, ASF, MAC, FLAC etc. It also supports WPL and M3U playlists. With AudioManage, you will also be able to index the audio parts of several mpeg-encoded movie formats (such as MPEG, MPG, etc). However, AudioManage hides the complexity of managing different formats from the user, and makes management and tag editing format independant. As far as you are concerned, the tracks are all audio tracks, with properies like Album, Artist, Genre etc. When you manage, it doesn't matter what the format is: AudioManage handles the differences so you can enjoy your music. Isn't that the way things should've been anyway?

Of course, as with everything else in AudioManage: just because the complexities are hidden doesn't mean you can't reach them. If you really want to manage by storage or format, or even bitrate etc., you can do that as well.

Manage by storage, format, bitrate, duration etc.
