Okay guys, after more than THREE months of really hard work, I'm pleased to announce that AudioManage v2.10 is now ready. You can read more about the changes on the downloads page.

This version is almost a complete rewrite: most importantly, it uses a completely new database engine, which is totally self-contained. It has a very small memory footprint, and loads and unloads with the musicdb server almost instantly. There are many other changes to the rendering engines as well, so the virtual folders and files appear much faster inside Explorer and other places. With the new database engine, AM can now handle really massive libraries.

The enhanced interface is also more useful and highly customizable. You can even rename the root level folders now to anything you want, and, if you prefer, any of them can be switched off as well to avoid clutter.

The main AM properties can now conveniently be accessed frm the tools menu, by opening the "settings.ini". It launches the property-sheet to configure AM.

The search is also enhanced, with more fields being searchable. Also, a new "simple search" has also been added, which searches more fields for the same text, resulting in a quick set of matches that are most likely what you are looking for. A separate tab gives you access to common Internet sites where music/music related offers from YOUR location are opened. Currently, supported locations are: USA, UK, Germany, France, Canada. More locations and providers are being added.
